Michael Corbin, NP, is a nurse practitioner at Padilla Family Medicine in Chula Vista, CA. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Michael completed his undergraduate degree in kinesiology at Westmont College in Santa Barbara before pursuing his nursing degree and Master of Science in Nursing at Azusa Pacific University in San Bernardino. He gained extensive clinical experience as a registered nurse in the emergency department at Long Beach Memorial Hospital, where he worked through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic before advancing into his current role as a nurse practitioner.

Michael has always been passionate about both science and people. His early fascination with anatomy and the human body, paired with his natural ability to connect with others, inspired him to pursue a career in healthcare. At Padilla Family Medicine, he enjoys providing comprehensive care with a focus on preventive health, lifestyle modification, and weight management. He also performs in-office procedures such as skin biopsies and removals, always aiming to help patients make positive, lasting changes to improve their health and quality of life.

Outside of the clinic, Michael lives out the same principles he encourages in his patients—staying active and engaged in life. He enjoys beach volleyball, working out, traveling the world, and exploring new coffee shops and restaurants around San Diego. For Michael, health is about more than just medicine; it’s about staying active, building community, and living fully. He looks forward to partnering with patients on their unique healthcare journeys and helping them live healthier, happier lives.
